Inspired by designs from our archive, our Reissues collection reinterprets original pieces with directional styling. Like the rugged cousin of the polo shirt, the rugby shirt is a long-time Fred Perry staple. Originally cut from ultra-thick cotton in order to prevent them from being ripped in the scrum, we’ve replicated a rugby shirt from our archive in a nice heavyweight cotton jersey and featuring a refined woven cotton collar. Our short sleeve rugby shirt features a central Laurel Wreath graphic, inspired by motifs used in the ‘80s and bold horizontal striping on the bottom body.
