Inspired by designs from our archive, our Reissues collection reinterprets original pieces with directional styling. Inspired by Spanish skier Francisco Fernandez Ochoa, who frequently trained on the slopes wearing Fred Perry during the 60s and 70s, our Fair Isle crew neck jumper is based on a vintage archive sample remade in a Lambswool blend for sportsmen and women who are trend-led off-piste. There are significant parallels between Ochoa’s life and Fred Perry’s, with both men originating from working class backgrounds and going on to achieve sporting immortality by reaching world number one in their respective fields. Both men leave behind significant sporting and stylistic legacies.
